what's the technical reason we can't downgrade >3.55 consoles?
do they come with a different lv0?
is it in theory possible to overcome this?
Otherwise I can't see much point in downgrading...
consoles that come with higher firmwares usually have slightly different hardware and the old updates dont have how to run it properly. i remember at last years ccc marcan was showing linux on a ps3 slim with version 3.15 and couldnt get video output to work. after a couple days he released a video showing what it was supposed to be and that the 3.15 update he was using didnt have how to run that gpu revision.
