After reading some more, this won't apply to SSD. You need to do a clean install, or you'll suffer some performance issues (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...5-24bb18aad7f7). What is says, is that there are issues relating to alignment that would not apply to traditional drives. Its the different drive geometry required with SSDs. Image transfers are discouraged by the hardware gurus when going from HDDs to SSDs. An SSD needs to have a new partition table, etc. or performance suffers and in some cases the OS won't work.

So... U need to reinstall bro!
ok thanks ill just wait until windows 8 comes out then install that onto the SSD
