The PC version is better, but if you only have a PS2 copy of the game and want to play it in HD resolution, PCSX2 is the best way to go about it. And how do you know that game isn't retail? It sure looks like it is.

lol I don't know anyone who would be prepared to play the PS2 version GTA: SA with a powerful enough PC to emulate it decently and not have the knowledge to obtain or even own in some way, shape or form a PC version of GTA: SA. Come on lol.

The version this guy has played looks like a copy to me that you get, particularly in Iran where they print a related game image onto a disc to make it look better than a cheap label.
I don't however know what a legit Iranian/Middle East/Asian copy looks like though.
