No problem, and yes, to a point. Slim 3k models cannot be downgraded either, which are the most common ones nowadays, and are considered unhackable as of now. In addition, the slim 250_A/B's that are 120GB/250GB are fine, but the 160GB/320GB are not.
Also, to downgrade you need a hardware flasher and a service mode jig. The flasher can be many different things, but the most recommended ones are Progskeet, or Teensy++ 2.0. As for a service mode jig, I have a couple PSP's, so I just use those, but there's a large variety of things you can use for this, just have a quick google to find out your options if need be.
