Nahhhh.... something good and bad happened here:

The bad - someone wasted a lot of time and effort on false information

The good - the provider of said false information has been exposed as the faker that he is. The next time said dingbat tweets some garbage with a fake png screenshot of some BS it won't have to be front paged and defended by an army of drones (including some mods?? never understood this one).

So I think overall the scene will be better off going forward. Additionally in my humble opinion, I think the scene should operate on a "Working POC or GTFO" approach. Repeatable, demonstrable code/procedures need to be provided or it is just a rumor and should be categorized as such (not front paged or taken as gospel). Just my 2 cents.
