I cloned the git repository because I was having an issue where all my firmwares without the sprx patches were coming out to being like 5 megs in size.
Turns out they added the option "Add new icons in XMB". I believe this is how to get the install packages menu. Even though I was on MFW Builder 0.2.1, and checked out 0.2.1 the version I checked out today was different.
Going to try this again with an OFW. It really makes me nervous to try to run a CFW through it, as the docs say not too. Will post back when I know if it works or not.

Ok, so the new mfw builder with OFW 3.55 did fix it.
No Blue screen on boot this time. I have a feeling if I would've added Homebrew to the xmb last time I would have gotten the install packages option.
Live, and learn I guess.
