I have no problems with buying a device to hack a console.
I have 3 JB pens.
I have no problems with paying to play. I have a few different Swap Magic discs and the Breaker Pro disc.
I have a problem with DRM and selling pirated discs.
Maybe I have a wrong definition of the "scene" but for me DRM is anti-scene. My definition of scene means sharing.
so tha´s why I don´t like the TB dongle. I have nothing against the people who buy it. I totally understand that they want to play the new games. I don´t like when they say it´s the best thing to happen to the scene. Like I said I don´t think TB is "scene" in any way.
There´s a big difference with SwapMagic, a modchip, etc and TB.
That difference is DRM. it´s to bad many users just don´t see it that way.
I also think support and info from the TB team has been lacking and with an elitist attitude. they want people to pay but also expect them to be grateful like if they were doing something for the scene. We should be grateful that we can play Resistance 3 on BD-RPirate.
Let´s see what Eboots are going to be released today.
If all the BD-R games are released I will hate them a little less.
They´ll only be greedy money whores instead of ridiculously greedy money whores
