I have witnessed this form of signup on some roleplaying forums for various roleplaying servers. They tend to take alot of importance in people having read the server/site rules, to avoid meta- & powergaming and similar forms of unaccepted conduct there.

I think while we are doing that we should require smart card readers, finger print analysis and retinal scanners. Seriously though if people want to **** with Ps3HaX they will. The admins can't stop it because the task is too big. Trolls have access to anonymization more than ever and it's only getting cheaper and easier.
