Indeed it would not stop trolls, and people having multiple accounts for this purpose or for harassing others. Or just people making accounts for that matter.
In terms of security, comparing it to eyescanners, and biometrics... Perhaps I have the wrong view on it this, but I dont assume its that big for a security feature, having people answer something we should assume that they already know?
