ok this is going insane. First, flashy lights just mean something went wrong. THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW WHAT THE REAL PROBLEM IS. We only know what the most common problem is... Trying with higher temperatures won't work, you may damage permanently the console motherboard. Please follow the guides STEP BY STEP, we wrote them because we had experienced problems, and found a good solution. So, having a different lights flash sequence may as well mean that the problem you have is not YLOD; but, as far as we know, the problem may be solveable through reflowing. So take your precautions, and follow the steps. Use flux, it's very important. Using a hairdryer will not do, the temperature is not high enough. Use high quality compound, it will make your repair last longer. I wish you luck.
