Lol, it could be a double ploy by the TB team!
We already think the cloner is just TB releasing a "clone" so that they can then sell a version 2, which we all knew would happen sooner or later.
BUT, what is the people who create a new cfw are also the TB team. They then claim to say that the scene should be free etc that they dont demand cash but donations are always welcome :P
We users are more likely to donate than buy, so the TB team could end up taking advantage, more ppl will donate to support a free scene not realising they are funding TB, whilst TB release a new dongle and get the naive players to shell out on a new dongle!
