Hahahaha :D No, don't worry, I didn't have any secret agenda. I perhaps would search for a moderator position, if they were to open again, but don't worry. There was honestly not even the slightest hidden agenda behind it.
Yes, I did troll Hellsing9 and tried to stir up some trouble about him. But that was just because, I don't like him in his position for much the same reason that GregoryRasputin don't either. It just disturbs me... And I am not even that much into the ps3 scene either.
I don't mind him coming from TBCrunch, if he as a person didn't agree with their ideals, and had sought over here instead. Of course he should be welcomed, he shouldn't be shunned here, because he didn't belong over there and had been treated unfair.
And had he showed great moderating skills, a great will, and a great personality that was much closer to ours, I wouldn't mind him getting an easy 'ticket' to becoming a moderator.
But thats the thing, he hasn't really separated with those over at TBCrunch, and I dont believe that just because he is revered at one place, he should automatically be it at another - especially when the places have some significant differences.
In my eyes, he is much closer to them than us, and he haven't really done anything noteworthy over here. Honestly, my postcount is close to his, and I haven't even been really active - writing wise - here.
In short, he hasn't really done an effort here that should give him the moderating position. With effort I mean he hasn't really shown his intent. I don't really condone of a moderator that haven't at the very least, shown he can be trusted.
Yes, perhaps he can be trusted over at TBCrunch, but that is trusted according to their mentality. I don't really think that their mentality, atleast when speaking of their high ranking members, is applicable to ours, they are too different. And the issue is, I don't really rest easy with many of the mentalities over there at TBCrunch... And neither should I, I believe, when I look at how it went at places like PS3_news, where the moderators/higher ranked members, actually went as far, as to posting people's IPs and personal info over there. Yes, I know TBCrunch and PS3_news isn't identical in personality either, but its the whole concept of taking someone renowned in one place and automatically letting them in, without them showing that they fit in here, in a powerful position as well.
Oh and btw, now that I am already writing a post in this topic.. Continous good work Zadow and the rest of you, which I am sorry I aren't mentioning by name here :D The work you are doing here, is nothing less than wonderful
