The only mods you can get for that game is unlimited ammo for primary & secondary guns + another. I have mine modded. Get the cheat enabler get your eboot from your game disc & load it through the cheat enabler & go to resistance 2 & check all cheat boxes click on bottom right (patch) i think it is.
When done go to the output location were ever you picked it to be & get the MOD_EBOOT.BIN rename to EBOOT.BIN & keep a clean copy of your EBOOT ,just in case .Then copy the eboot to your games backup USRDIR & see if it works .I don't know if it is region specific ,if so i can help you & give you my PARAM.SFO + EBOOT.BIN & that should be all you need to convert your game to USA if yours is different.
Also i think the eboot works with a patch installed you just need to copy the modded eboot to the dev_hdd0/game/Your game folder /USRDIR < find eboot.bin copy over it .I would first try without patch installed . If you have a patch installed delete the patch & run game from multiMAN with EBOOT.BIN in your backup game USRDIR directory..
I forget my game id so i would tell you if it would work for yours .
