Imagine running up millions in legal costs because you tinkered with a toy. Was it ethical or honest to solicit donations to keep fighting, even though I'm pretty sure he knew what he was going to do anyway? No, but it's understandable. I can sympathize. And whether he released metldr keys for fame or out of love for the scene in irrelevant.

Compare and contrast with a few two-faced, greedy, lying pieces of sh*t who are currently f*cking over the entire video game community. They are so conniving and snake-like that they've even managed to convince some (really gullible and/or retarded) people that their way is right and true, and slavery is really freedom. Zero good intentions, zero ethics or morals, and they are selling piracy, which is verboten in any hacking scene. They need to just go away.

But it was geohot who ruined the scene. Right. Also, your comparison of the first jailbreak and this garbage is not even worth commenting on.
/\/\ All that over taking my words out of context. I never said it WAS geohost fault. I said after geohot released the info, the scene went downhill. I never said it was because of geohot, it is because of ALL the users that flooded the scene afterwords. The scene grew 10 times in size once 3.55 CFW started hitting the scene.
