when that happens is to remove about 2~3 pixels from around the picture. I tried it and it actually works.
What I usually do is compose/make the picture and finalize it as a .png before bringing it in the .dds file to edit. I've tried by adding layers demostrated in
@TizzyT
's video TUT but, find it easier to just have the pic the way I want before adding it to the .dds file.

LOL to be honest I do everything in a PNG first too, I only did it the way shown in the tutorial to keep things simple and short

and the tip about removing a couple pixels around the edges seems to be working for everyone which is great but still an inconvenience sorry about that.
