I have 3 ps2's to this day, and I would not trade a single one for an xbox or a game cube (owned 2, both died). It all boils down to preference, and personal choice. Like others said, it's the personal memories that make a console great. I loved RE4, the Socom series, Metal Gear series, GoW, etc... on the ps2.
