this was the tool i started using with and everytime i did it, it gave me perimeter errors and some other errors.. did not matter the size of the partition i was making either...

if anyone is wondering how i did it on windows vista (vista sucks balls)
i ended up using vista's "compmgmt.msc" tool (found using the start> search) to format it to 2Tb Ntfs.. then used "Guiformat" (found off of google) to change the file system from Ntfs to Fat32
that left me with 700Gbs left on my hard drive, and for some reason the vista tool, i just mentioned, would not allocate it for me..
so using Fat32formatter i allocated the rest of the drive.. and even though it gave me perimeter errors and was un-usable i was able to use vista to change it to Ntfs format and fix the perimeter errors

now i have a 2Tb fat32 and 700Gb Ntfs Ex hard drive :P
