I liked you post because I like it, however I think you may not have considered some alternate points to your argument before posting.

Were is the option that does not require a purchase to play most 3.56+ ps3 games?
That option surely does exist, but it has not been made publicly available, so for all practical intents and purposes it does not exist.
Some devs are sitting on that option, while other devs try to give it to you, unfortunately the only "devs" who allow the general public to play most 3.56+ ps3 games chose to charge money for it.
In the current situation this scene is in, there is no free option to play most 3.56+ ps3 games, I wish there was because I could test a game and decide if I liked it or not before making a purchase. Unfortunately that option is not available to me.

That may be true, I really don't know.
What I do know is jbking and other clones are not competition for TB.
Real competition would provide an alternate method of producing the same result while using none of TB's "works" as it's own and therefore would not be subject to TB's malware.
If jbking and other clones were actually real honest competition then they would release their own version of modded eboots and CFW/MFW.
In other words, develop your own **** or GTFO.
Why haven't they?
Because they are parasites of TB, they cannot do anything unless TB does it first, so if a group choose's to be a parasite of a parasite then they( and their users ) will be subject to not only the source's(SONY/it's games devs)
anti piracy methods, but also to the original parasite's methods as well.
And TB is a parasite of SONY/it's games devs.
Since TB is a parasite and clones of TB are a parasite that has attached itself to a parasite, what does that make the users of TB or it's clones?
The way I see it is the scene wants games and homebrew for free and I also believe it should be that way, but the reality is the scene currently does not work this way.
Right now we have to pay if we want 3.56+ games, there is no other free method even if you update or buy a new ps3.
If people want to stay on cfw/mfw I hope they will, but for those of you who want new games, please update or buy a new ps3 instead of buying a TB or its clones.
Maybe you think games are too expensive, well then, don't buy them. That is my opinion.
A scene should be free, That is my opinion, but as this scene stands, it is not free.
So what good will result from removing the only option of playing backups of 3.56+ games unless you immediately provide an alternate solution.
I have said about all I can say on this issue, So If my point has not been properly conveyed by now, then it never will be, as such I am done with this topic.
Do whatever you guys want, but please think about what I said.

that text is on the box for my cech-200X, cech-250X and cech-300X,
if you actually go to the indicated website and read what is there you will read this
"3. SERVICES AND UPDATES
From time to time, SCE may provide updates, upgrades or services to your PS3™ system to ensure it is functioning properly in accordance with SCE guidelines or provide you with new offerings. Some services may be provided automatically without notice when you are online, and others may be available to you through SCE's online network or authorized channels.
Without limitation, services may include the provision of the latest update or download of new release that may include security patches, new technology or revised settings and features which may prevent access to unauthorized or pirated content, or use of unauthorized hardware or software in connection with the PS3™ system."
The bold part is exactly what you stated was not on the box, while true the box does not contain the emboldened text the box does in fact direct you to it.
If you chose to not follow through or examine everything pertaining to the purchase of a ps3 before you chose to make that purchase, then only you are to blame for you non satisfaction.
