In theory yes, I have not tried as buying blank Bd50's kind of defeats the object (cost wise) and I would hate to try and get a coaster.
There are some 3D bluray players that accept the ISO format from external (google) also most 3d media players accept ISO I believe.
If you have a high spec laptop (with 3d graphics card) with hdmi out you could also mount the iso and play it with Powerdvd or similar directly to your 3d Tv.
You can do the ripping of the BD on your Pc with this
