Correction: a group of anonymous individuals reversed engineered it, recoded it into an open source version and released it without ego to the public, with the exception of one person, Mathieulh.
Those people documented its progress on a wiki, which again was egoless published, a wiki which later was removed by Mathieulh from the face of this planet when raids took place at its greatest wiki contributor: Graf_chokolo.
Shortly after, defyboy (together with community help) resurrected that legacy online on his own costs with the vision that information should be free and available to everyone. That site is now over a year further, grown to over 1250 pages had over 2 million visitors and can still to be found @
