Thanks mate but I think with all the messing I did before I found out you had to patch your backup bios has left with a perm brick.
Once flashed all I have now is black screen, PS3 stays on but nothing on screen and I can't even enter recovery menu.
I suppose I've learnt something, I do have another brick here that I will get my tech guy to solder this weekend.
I bricked these two consoles when I first got my e3 flasher last month before I realized I was doing the downgrade wrong.
