Guys before I did what you both said and flashed back my backup bios I did follow Pro Hack guide and did get down to Rogero 3.1 but when I restarted and got the Sony Welcome screen and then the plug in controller picture it froze and after that just a black screen when i restarted and unable to get access to recovery menu.
Then I flashed back the patched bios dump back and all looks OK ps3 took the bios and restarted but still black screen.
I reckon because I have spent so long on it ( over 6 hours ) that because the gpu has not thermal paste on it because I thought it would take no more than 30 minutes that it is f**ked hence why no picture on screen.
Its my own fault I should have posted then waited for a reply instead of rushing off and trying different things.
Lets hope I can fix my other brick, I'm taking board in to work tomorrow to get tech guy to solder the tristate to the sbe.
