multiMAN is open source. The source code up to version
02.08.05 is still available.
It is a great resource for learning. It contains all the subs/functions that you could need to develop that tool.
FTP method also works using multiMAN or dev_blind. Although I prefer sandungas idea... write to dev_flash should be avoided to prevent bricks.
