I've been trying to say pretty much this for a while now. Lets take some classic games:
Crash Bandicoot, The original Sonic The Hedgehog.
Both of these games, compared to "modern" graphics look absolutely sh*t. But it doesn't bother me, I still play them regardless.
Why? Because it's fun... A lot of games have lost the "fun" factor and have became "the same old thing".
There has not been much variation this generation at all.
Or maybe I'm just too old.. because I played those classic games when they was "new" and "cool"...
