It's EXTREMELY DANGEROUS however. if not made right you could **** up your flash for good OR EVEN OTHER INTERNAL COMPONENTS.

It's simple, if the do guides in Spanish done for their own community with little or no explaining at all. You see some *n00bish* attitude from them.
If they go with Linux and use glevand kernel and do a guide, i can bet that they will generate more bricks (with the chance of **** up your hardware) than good results.
The problem is the language barrier and knowledge in general from their side.

If using MAD downgrade, it's a risk. (a big one) and get a nice BRICK since they have 0 feedback, imagine some user that knows very little using what you mentioned.
They want to wash their hands of that, maybe they tought about that or they even notice that can achieve that using linux but since they go with softmod solutions it's riski-er than flashing with a REAL flasher.
