i think until the keys are found, it'd be dumb to hint at how to get them unless it is for certain that it couldn't be patched. that's probably why people think the scene is "dead", even though it clearly is not. it's kinda like in hibernation or in a basement :O things will come out here and there, devs are just trying to be smart about it. that, and they're tired of getting flamed
