...*SIGH* everytime this moggpogi fellow posts, braincells all over the board commit suicide.

A lot of interesting things have been said already, one of which I hadn't considered. The idea that sony hasn't yet done anything about TB because they fear they will leak the info on the hack makes a lot of sense to me, because I am absolutely sure that, as wolfie708 said, sony full well know how TB works. I don't think there's a way for anybody to do something to the ps3 that sony can't figure out with minimal effort. If they don't implement fixes, then it's related to something else.

I also absolutely agree with wololo that if you're going to be a stinking pirate, at least have the decency to be a damn proper pirate and not pay for pirated games. I have pirated games before, but I've never paid anyone, aside from the actual hardware needed... oh and before one of you TB loving idiots (I'm not including all TB users in that generalization) say anything: TRUE BLUE IS NOT A HARDWARE HACK. Last I heard DRM is software based, all TB does is this: Checking to see if an idiot is holding the control.... Yes, effectively and idiot who paid for TB (or a relative) is holding the control, so go ahead and let them play DISC/ISO True Blue is as much a modchip as I am a astronaut.

That said, I think ps3 sceners/devs should lay off the judgments. I for one detest sony even more than I detest TB (OtherOS was strike one, Graf was strike two and three), so while I completely agree with destroying TB whatever the consequences I can't agree to do it to help sony. You want to say that you want to release the stolen code? YAY!, you want to spread free and proper backup solutions? YAY!, you want to help poor little ol' sony?... ummm NO! Ideally a solution to allow retail copies of games AND have access to homebrew would be found, but I doubt that will come to pass. While I agree that people that are only in it to pirate should be left to fend for themselves, I don't think it's justified to refuse the 2 out of 10000000 who will actually use this to backup their legally owned games. Point is that sony screwed me with OtherOS because of the ******bags that would pirate stuff (or at least that's their excuse, but I think they just wanted to get rid of OtherOS and used geohot as an scapegoat), so I obviously can't agree with clumping all scene members/enthusiasts/developers/etc together with the kids who have no thoughts aside from playing free games.
