No, I just looked at all the benchmarks and reviews before making a purchase. I consistently saw people complaining how the FX just did not deliver. I looked at various benchmarks as well. I am not a fan of either Intel nor AMD, just of performance. I also do not like it that AMD is blatantly hiding the amount of physical cores their processors have.
