You can read all about it there.
Now talking slowly, you have to start ps3jig in psp with the psp connected to the ps3 on the right-most usb port (the usb port thats nearest to bd drive).
Then you press power and then quickly eject, till you hear 3 beeps(make sure no bd is in drive). Then you should see psp screen showing things and ps3 should turn itself off. If psp has no response, or ps3 behaves the same way as before, post here what you saw

Thanks for a detailed response. I have tried it the way you said many times, no response on PSP. The console turns off as always several seconds later. Any more ideas?
