For users who only have 5 megabits worth of bandwidth, newsgroups are more of a hassle than torrents.
With a torrent I can just install utorrent and then download @ my silly crappy 500KB/s. With a N/G I need N/G software, try to figure it out, download all the par's etc and still at ≠ 500KB/s
Thought about N/G's before but until this city gets its highspeed under control well, S.O.L.
