Agreed. There was a point in time where there was an "I <3 PS3 Devs" movement going on where people had showed their support; although as soon as information hoarding and deception happened that flew the coup pretty fast.
There are still "good" devs (as opposed to "evil" devs) in the scene, and I'm more than willing to bet they know who they are (no need to name names + I forget).
Something to note though is that (I believe) there will always be more people putting things down and saying negative than there will be positive. It's just the way the world works. Always seems to be more negative things than positive;
BUT the good always outweighs the bad. Negativity sucks but it's so easy. That's why there's so much negativity. It's easy to get pulled into it. But to be happy/positive, is much harder and takes a hell of a lot more dedication and practice!
If you ignore the negativity and the jerk offs, you will be happier
