you can use either, mM will only flash the EID section so even if other parts of the dump are corrupt, it won't flash it. Like I said though.. make dumps with as many tools as possible

I wanted also to dump via Linux.
I boot Red Ribbion OtherOS.
Then log in with password.
Open up Terminal.
type:
su
then it asks me for password: ps3 (is my pass)
it says authentication failed.tried many times always the same.
and if I skip this command and type :
mount –rw /dev/sda1 /mnt
it says only root can do that (mount)
Whats wrong?
