In my tutorial it says that it accepts only NAND dumps made with mM (239MB). It looks for 0x40800 file offset for the sector to write to NAND.

It compares the IDPS from the file and your PS3 NAND/NOR and won't do anything if they don't match. Also renaming NOR to NAND or NAND to NOR won't work, because mM knows what flash is used in your PS3 and won't allow you to write something that is not yours of from different model.
