One day you and Bob decide to go hunting but something happens and a rock falls on your legs breaks them both. Bob drags you back to Jerry and Jerry is requesting compensation for his work although he needs nothing more than a coconut to heal you -- he could also teach you how to heal yourself with a coconut but he chooses not to.
Jerry wants 60 freshly caught fish or else he won't heal you.

This is not even close to the same thing. Are we able to patch those games freely? no! If there was a free solution and they were trying to charge that would be just out right wrong not to mention dumb..... They are among the few that know o0f a way to patch these titles and they have every right to charge us to do so. For that matter if not for laws in place in most countries those that cant pay for a doctor would die So please just STFU.
Also the fact that people are so easily swayed is because they don't feel they were being screwed in the first place E3 teams flasher was a bit of a flop (at first) but thats the only wrong they have done.
