Somehow I think a lot of kids do not have ADD/ADHD and just have a low attention span that doctors want to profit off of. Or perhaps they want everything given to them in a quick fashion without them having to put to use two or more braincells. This of course does not mean I think ADD is total sham, but perhaps a small bit of it is.
Might be that ADD seems more prevalent now because people are too damn lazy. Years before you had to look through physical books for the information, now you can get it in a second, like you wrote. Maybe that is causing more ADD diagnoses, pure laziness? Dunno.
I am coming off as a total asshat here to the ADD community no doubt, but hey, if you have an opinion someone probably hates you for it.
