green = power on
yellow = hardware failure
red = power off

i could be wrong but as far as i know thats basically the sequence as i see it

if you have fixed rrod then the same rules apply here. i have had many rrod consoles fans speed up to full before turning off. a correct fix sorts it out

fix it the same way you would a rrod i.e. same heatgun distance/length of time/cooling period etc

edit. and dont forget to use flux (no clean) under the gpu to give a good quality reflow
