Geez I would never have thought of that. Oh wait I did , but my Slim is not downgradeable. If my PS3 was downgradeable I would have done it eight months ago when I bought it.

I could only get hold of the PS3 with High firmware. We dont always have choices in the matter. It might be different in most countries but here in Ireland you take what you get.
I had my previous PS3 jailbroken for six months playing my retail copy of GT5 from the HDD but the PS3 died half way through a race in GT5. I had that PS3 for four and a half years.
