My e3 flasher can read and write to my ps3 and I'm fairly certain I have unbricked it but it still did not exit tristate mode. What can I do to resolve this?
so it's halting still even with nothing soldered to the ps3?
take a close look at all the test points and ensure they are all as free from solder as possible.
then test the tristate point and see if it is actually grounded.
it may be a broken point else where.
i had a hairline break on data test point 13 on a DYN-001 board
that acted like the tristate was still grounded after i had removed the wires.
it took a lot of tracing of the points with a multimeter untill i found it.
its just a thought but maybe you have the same with one of yours
