People use Dropbox for all sorts of syncing application, storage stuff. There are tons of apple/windows/android/iphone apps that relies on dropbox. I don't think it will be much of a problem. I don't think it will require excessive bandwidth. PS3 Game Save are small files. From 1 MB - 10 MB. I believe it will be fine.

Nonono, I know. And the app is indeed smart and sounds simple to make, had I had my own PS3 I would gladly have started :P I did not mean for personal use.. If you use dropbox to share files in a file hosting way, then you break their rules
Not just if you use it to sync stuff.
Maybe I understood your initial idea wrong. I understood it as others should be able to download a repertoire of game saves(due to being able to see and download others' gamesaves) through dropbox as well then.
