Hitler was a sad waste of space, but religion world-wide does worse than he did all the time. They just do it in a different way.
Also, in the grand scheme of things, the things he actually had a direct hand in pale into insignificance compared with the sick things a certain set of united states did in 'mini' wars like Vietnam.

Seriously? A total of 2 million Vietnamese died. That includes North and South. Civilian and Soldier. Hitler killed three times as many Jews alone. That doesn't include casualties of war, members of his own cabinet, Officers who refused to follow orders, etc. Gas chambers, shooting squads, starvation, burning people alive...don't know how that is worse than any other way. There was also rapings and torture by Nazi officers. Personally, I wouldn't differentiate the two. There should have never been a Vietnam war, but still.
