I have had many memo's from above asking for weird and wonderful things to be done to consoles. Updating them was among them, as well as being sent a back up copy of halo reach to test 360's for mod chips.... DERP I cloned it and played it on my 360 LT3.0+ the week it got released.
When I bought my 320gb from Sainsburys in UK I got a 28 day return satisfaction thing, and I asked if it wasn't right can I bring it back even if its opened, they said yes

Alright, but how do I know if it's sealed by sony or gamestop, if I ask they'll probably say that they don't know and that it's not related to how the ps3 will work in any ways.

Or just ask for a model with 3.55 or less fabric fw and ask if they sealed it or if sony did, if they will give you a straight answer, it's solved.
