Ok, so I think I should end this thread since it's becoming a little bit scattered. I have made it fairly far in the tutorial but am running into a blue screen problem. I'll make a new thread about it since it's really a separate problem entirely.
Thanks for all the help I've received. It's been invaluable to getting my system up and running again.
