Obviously we don't have the decrypted eboot, if we did we don't need to fake the update.. But is there not more to the whole: BDEMU needs an update, yet a legit disk doesn't (if I remember correctly)? Has anyone tried burning a backup instead of just via USB?

If i remember correctly retail eboots have some checks that require an original disk in order to play while npdrm ones(updates) don't have those checks.
