A moddification is something that someone impliments to a certain piece of equipment, In this case modding the ps3 power lead an incorperating a switch to turn the mains power supply on/off. Thus keeping the ps3 in working order for a longer time than it would if it were on standby all the time, therefore saving the electrolitic capasitors from being replaced earlier an voiding your warrantee . So wich ever way you slice it this is a mod, A basic one yes but still a mod. Next week i wil be adding a 2way remote controller for turning it on by the ps3 controller, so pressing the ps button twice, 1) at the wall,2) at the ps3... You can be a sheep an buy one ready made by some rip off firm or you can be a sheperd and be clever an make one yourself.....jealousy is a nasty trate.

yeah looks allright , but when you make your own you can make it to your specifications. I made mine with a good bit of distance on the cable so that i wouldnt have to reach around the back to switch it on or off...plus for the mioney you spent on buying one of these ,post an packing too you can make one at half the cost maybe less....but its good if your not confident with electrics or a noob....
