Well, ideally it would clip and stay there. But after messing with it so much, it starts getting loose because the clips pins are pushed in a little from the pressure. It is a very cheap and lousey design if you ask me. But if you put it on like it is suppose to be, and make sure it flush. Then, get some strong tape and put it on it, being carefully not to move it do knock it off. Then after that, put something on top if it that is like 1/2 inch thick or maybe a little less, like styrofoam or cut up pieces of cardboard, the size of the clip so it will apply pressure evenly to all sides of the clip constantly, and tape it down aswell. Then reassemble the ps3. Now when you put the ps3 back together you will be sandwiching the styrofoam or cardboard pieces between the clip and rest of the ps3 casing, which will apply constant pressure. It is ok if it is a little tight fitting, but don't like put so much that the motherboard bends and cracks.
