Thanks, Bigbones87, I made some progress again. Now I have all the lights: green, blue and red. So I think I got the Flasher installed correctly now. Now I have the problem of updating the E3.
I used E3 card reader to upgrade it. When I insert the card reader into the PC, it basically has three drives, one for the micro SD (around 1G space, exactly my SD card space), one for E3 upgrader, and one for 3.97 MB. I put the upgrade.bin file in both root folder of micro SD and E3 upgrader drive. Then I put micro SD card in the TF cover and tried to upgrade E3 flaser.
The problem is when I turned on the PS3, it booted normally while nothing happened to my E3 flasher. According to the tutorial, the blue lights should blink in turns and are finally all on. What's my problem here?
One tricky part is how to put the micro SD to the TF cover. I found the connection quite loose. I can easily insert the card and remove it. It's not like something really connected to the cover. More likely, the card is just "put" there without any support. Is this problematic?
Thank to your help, I made progresses. may you just give more hints? Thanks again!
