Ok, thanks for the info. Once I get this working again, I don't plan on changing my CFW unless something really awesome comes out.
As far as using a third drive to keep from losing any data, how did you manage to do that? I have a third drive, by my ps3 doesn't like to install onto drives unless I do a complete format ahead of time on my pc, and my third drive was a 2TB drive I'm about to use elsewhere, and that would take waaaay too long to format. So I decided to use my OFW drive as the guinea pig drive, and the CFW drive would sit in the corner until everything was up and running. The problem is, I can get to the point where my OFW drive will properly boot into CFW, but my CFW drive gives me the screen where it asks me to plug in my controller. I don't know that there is anything else I could do in order to get to boot properly, but it looks like I'm going to have to do a fresh install of the CFW onto that drive. Is there any way to rip the data off that drive so that I could put it back on later? Or will I just have to suck it up and start fresh?
