sorry my prev answer was wrong
keep r7 & r8 closed
then do not connect the 3.3v from the progskeet to the VCC on the ps3
connect tristate on progskeet to tristate on ps3
you need the ps3 turned on then count to 8 then plug in the progskeets usb to halt the ps3
but as i said
i havent found a fool proof way to remove the 2 pins. do not use the clip if these are still connected
