I think it's a little different with this update, all flashcarts but two were just made obsolete assuming you update, including acekard 2i. I've been using my acekard since before the 3DS was even thought of.

Most DS games only support WEP encryption because that's what the DS supported, so I don't play DS games on line. Only 3DS games online for me. Plus, I never use a flashcart in the 3DS, I got too many DS's and DSi's for that. So, I really don't care if flashcarts are blocked with the 3DS. Although, I wish my iEvo worked in my 3DS, guess I shouldn't have updated it a while back, but they lured me in with free downloads.
