This has been gone over and over in the past on here and you were involved in the discussion.
Basically, the majority of the world on an aggregate basis are a-holes. That's just fact. a-holes not by nature but by ignorance, that's just life. We see these people every day and it's why we don't say "hello" to everyone we meet. Most people have a group of friends but they aren't "friends" with everyone.
You and your inner circle (I dunno just short hand), don't seem to grasp that there's a good many people amongst the a-holes that are pretty reasonable and decent.
By painting everyone with that brush of "your not greatful", you kinda annoy the people who actually respect the work you have done, don't make a fool of themselves begging for releases and their life doesn't depend on the work you do.
You'll find that the people who you and your close chums dislike are EXACTLY the same people like Gregory dislike, people who come here begging for CFW 4.xx, want latest keys, don't research, don't read forum rules, and so forth.
Surely it's kinda obvious I mean we're talking about basic human behavior. I'm not meaning to insult you here.
I'm curious as to your anger or rather dislike of the whole due to the rotten ones in the bunch, as outlined, that's life. I've got no right to tell you what to do, but that's not what I'm doing - or Gregory I expect if he calms down for a second
What's the deal here. Why the bad feeling. People are dumb and speak before thinking. Sorry but that's life. It pisses me off no end but crikey if you're going to put work into something why not just have take the pride and respect from those that give it and forget the tools that don't really understand.
In summary, why deny someone something when you can give it to them with no effort, does it have to come down to who owes who whatever? There's some very basic analogies here that could be used. Like treat others as you would like to be treated, and all that feel good rubbish.
Anyway, finally...(rant nearly over)...If everyone took that stance of not giving to a group because there were a majority of ungreatful people, or rather ignorant...then nothing in the world would get done. We're all ignorant in some area, nobody is perfect. There are people who post here and I'm thinking "What on earth is wrong with this person?"...I'm sure in real life...they are decent enough, just not perfect...
This goes for every internet forum the world over as I'm sure you're aware.
